fear

all four photos show the fear of confinement. mirror was used to create the distortion. I only showed part of the limbs, the tape around the ankle allows people to imagine what is happening in the situations. The scissors represent the freedom, but even though that pair of scissors are attainable, and it seems that i can reach it to free myself from the restriction, but I am not able to reach it. The conflict also exists in everyone's daily life...

I took the photos in the art studio while waiting in line to start my painting photography project. This is my first time trying to take photography of myself. I used the stand and set the timer. I found it quite interesting to be in my own photos.

Window symbnolizes the way toward freedom and the unknown world. And I hope my audience can see this concept that i am trying to convey through the photography i took

I think I will do one of these paintings for my project, because I love the softness of the woman figure and the light on the face of the women. There is a calm feeling on the facial expression, which i found extremely beautiful
